Door County Visitors Bureau, 2010 Guide

I just found out that the DCVB is going to use theses images in the 2010 Visitors Guide.
For the last three years, they have used some of the images that I submitted for their publication.  Every time I see my images printed in a Door County Publication, I feel honored to be one of the lucky ones to be capturing the beauty of Door County.

Start of the 2nd annual Door County Half Marathon

This is the start of the 2nd annual Door County Half Marathon held on May 2nd 2009.  The race lucked out and the weather was perfect for running.

Waterboard Warriors at Sister Bay Marina Fest

When Labor Day rolls around, it means Marina Fest.  The Waterboard Warriors fill the waters of Sister Bay and perform a really big show for Door County.

Shipyards of Door County

As a photographer, I get to do some pretty fun things.  One of my favorites is to fly!  The fall of 2008, I was told by my publishers at Door County Living, that we were going to be running a story on DC by air in the fall of 2009.  I jumped on that one and set up a few flights.  This is a shot of Bay Ship, one of the yards that Sturgeon Bay is well known for.

Egg Harbor Pumpkin Patch Fest

When the harvest comes in, it means Pumpkin Patch Fest.  Every year in early October, Egg Harbor hosts one of the final festivals for the season that brings out family fun for all.

Every season is different in Door County and I feel very lucky and privileged to be one that captures the fun and beauty of Door County.
In April, I will return to the County, lets see what’s going to happen next.
