Dan Eggert’s Music

Music has always been a very personal thing for me. It all started about 22 years ago when some friends and I wanted to start up a punk band. I started teaching myself how to play mainly by messing around and making sounds on the bass. Learning cover tunes never appealed to me and from the start, I have been in bands that for the most part, played all original music. Here you will be able to listen to a musical history of my bass playing starting with the latest project I contributed to, then moving back in time. Enjoy the music.

Live in Brett’s Basement
We were a bunch of young skate punks when we started this band. I was only 16 and the rest of the guys were a year or two younger than I. For a few years in High School, we rocked the Fox Valley area along with other venues around the state of Wisconsin. Opened up for 80’s hair bands like Laz Rocket, Gothic Slam, and Morbid Saint. Fun times and a great way to spend my high school years.
These recordings were made in Brett’s basement using a boombox set on top of a washing machine. Enjoy the music!
